LMBC Marysville soon after organizing

On Friday, June 16, 1967, at 7:30 in the evening, the Marysville Mission was organized into a New Testament Church.  Eld. Lloyd Dickerson was the missionary who led out in the organization.  The New Hope Missionary Baptist Church of Oroville, CA was the church who sponsored the mission; the organizational meeting also took place at the New Hope church.

Of those on the council, Eld. Norval Ketchum was selected to bring the message, Eld. C.E. Hunt was elected to be the moderator,
and Eld. Leonard Buttram was chosen to be the clerk.  Other council members included, Eld. C.L. Hunt, Eld. Richard Perdue,
Eld. Ora Holloway, Eld. Edgar Polson, Eld. H. E. Hart, Eld. Tim Westbrook, Bro. Joe Rohrig, and Bro. Richard Jones.

The church began with 12 charter members, 6 from the sponsoring church of New Hope and 6 from Landmark MBC of Roseville.
