according to the riches of his grace;”
A. The ransom price is the precious blood of Jesus
Christ (Matt.20:28; 1 Pet. 1:18-20).
1. His blood is the price
that Jesus paid for our redemption (Lev. 17:11). “For the life of the
flesh
is in the blood: and I
have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your
souls:
for it is the blood that maketh an atonement
for the soul.”

which
are on earth; even in
Him:” v.10

that there has been a dispersion.
a. That dispersion took place when sin came into the world.
b. Included in God's great plan is also the work of bringing all
creation
back under His rightful dominion.

the praise of His glory (6, 12, 14). Psa. 2:8 "ask of me, and I
shall
give thee the heathen for thine

spiritual
blessings through the gospel.

in the text as “ye.”
G. The simplicity of the gospel (v. 13-14).
1. The lost must hear the
gospel of Christ. “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard
the
word of truth, the gospel of
your salvation:” (Rom. 10:17). 1 Corinthians 1:21 “For after that
in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew
not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them
that
believe.”

us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us,
is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in
our hearts.”
c. The believer bears in him the seal of God’s ownership (2 Tim.
2:19).
“Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth
sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let
every

depart from iniquity.”
